Curriculum in Media Studies – Visual Media Option

Students must apply for admission to the MDIA major. All applicants must have completed 30 hours of course work (including the university core or its equivalents), COMM 1000 with a B or better and earn a minimum 2.3 GPA in ENGL 1100, and Core Social Science. See the department chair or program coordinator for further information. Students who transfer to Auburn University’s MDIA major are required to take a minimum of 21 hours in Auburn's program.
