Microbiology (MCMB) — Pre-Physical Therapy (TMCB), Pre-Physician Assistant (AMCB)
The Microbiology major provides students with a strong foundation in coursework that emphasizes understanding life at the cellular and molecular level focusing on bacterial life. Students in this major will be well-prepared careers in basic or applied microbiology (including food and environmental microbiology) or research in biomedical science. This major has been tailored to meet the requirements for students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare including physical therapy and physician assistants.
