Special Education for Health and Related Service Professionals Minor

The special education for health and related service professionals minor will provide students interested in careers associated with children in schools or childcare settings with a foundational understanding of educational supports for learning and social development (e.g., doctors, nurses, dentists, speech/language pathologists, audiologists, physical & occupational therapists, counselors, service providers, child development professionals, general education teachers, early intervention professionals, etc.). Completion of this minor in no way leads to teacher certification or fulfills other requirements.  The minor is not an option for students enrolled in collaborative special education, early childhood special education or any other special education certification requirements.
