BFA Art — Studio/Fine Arts (ARTF)
Auburn's BFA in Studio Art program accepts students into the program via a portfolio review. Aspiring BFA in Studio Art majors begin the program as BA in Studio Art (ATLA) majors until completion of 25 credits in ARTS classes*, at which point students seeking admission to the BFA in Studio Art program (ARTF) take ARTS 3030 BFA Portfolio Review. After Satisfactory completion of ARTS 3030, students are admitted into BFA in Studio Art program. The ARTS 3030 BFA Portfolio Review is limited to two attempts. Students are required to take at least one Core History and one Core Literature course. They are also required to take a second course from either Core History or Core Literature to complete the two-course sequence.

Select from the following: ARTS 3020, ARTS 3210, ARTS 3310, (ARTS 3410or ARTS 3430), ARTS 3510 , (ARTS 3840 or ARTS 3820).

Students must meet with their advisors for a list of approved courses. Concentration options are Animation, Ceramics, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture.

Course should be taken in 2 sequential semesters culminating in the semester of graduation.
