Women's and Gender Studies Minor
Women’s and Gender Studies, an interdisciplinary minor, advances teaching, research, and scholarship about women's lives and about gender roles, relations, and identities. The minor sheds new light on existing knowledge of women and gender, integrates scholarship on women and gender into traditional disciplines, examines the impact of the social construction of femininity and masculinity, and promotes understanding of and appreciation for the diversity and complexity of gender historically and cross-culturally.
