Biomedical Sciences — Pre-Anesthesiologist Assistant (NBMS)
The Pre-Anesthesiologist Assistant major (NBMS) is specifically designed for students preparing for graduate-level education in anesthesiologist assistant programs. This interdisciplinary major provides a strong foundation in the biological sciences, chemistry, physics, and health-related coursework essential for success in the field of anesthesiology. Students will gain a deep understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, while developing critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. Graduates of this major are well-equipped to apply to Master of Science in Anesthesia (MSA) programs and pursue careers as certified anesthesiologist assistants.
