Physics — Pre-Physical Therapy (TPHY), Pre-Physician Assistant (APHY)
The Physics – Pre-Health tracks provide students with a strong foundation in the core principles of physics, including mechanics, electromagnetism, and biophysics, while preparing them for the scientific and technological challenges of modern healthcare. Through a combination of coursework, laboratory training, and research experiences, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and experimental skills that are highly valued by medical schools and healthcare professions. The curriculum combines a solid background in physics with supporting studies in biology, chemistry, and health sciences. Graduates are prepared for medical school, biomedical research, healthcare technology development, and other advanced fields, with a skill set that emphasizes scientific inquiry, quantitative reasoning, and practical experience.
