Restoration Ecology — Graduate Certificate
Offered entirely via distance education by the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment faculty, this certificate is designed to help those interested in natural resource management with training in restoration ecology, giving them the tools to better manage our natural resources while advancing their careers. The Restoration Ecology Graduate Certificate courses are designed to 1) provide graduate-level education for those seeking advanced positions in natural resource fields, or 2) place students in a position so that they can continue their graduate education in the certificate focus area.
This graduate certificate is designed to advance the level of knowledge and skills for individuals interested or working in the areas of natural resource management, forest and wildlife management, environmental sciences, natural resource management consulting, or environmental education. This graduate certificate is designed to help students better understand natural processes in terrestrial ecosystems; provide information on processes and practices that are relevant to the restoration of these ecosystems; and enhance critical thinking and communication skills.
