Pulp and Paper Engineering — Graduate Certificate

This graduate certificate prepares individuals to advance their level of knowledge and understanding in pulp and paper science and engineering that can be applied in their area of specialty.  The certificate will focus on the application of mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development, and manufacturing of pulp and paper products. This certificate will prepare individuals for employment in pulp and paper facilities as mechanical engineers, industrial engineers, chemical engineers, process engineers, and electrical engineers.

Graduate Certificate in Pulp and Paper Engineering - 12 hours:
Students will complete the following three core courses:
CHEN 6090Pulp and Paper Technology3
CHEN 6110Pulp and Paper Engineering3
CHEN 6970Advanced Special Topics in Chemical Engineering (Special Topics in Pulp and Paper Technology)3
Additionally, students will select three (3) credit hours from the approved elective courses.3
