Master of Engineering

This is an interdisciplinary degree which allows each student the opportunity to design an individual curriculum that is aligned with specific career or personal objectives. This degree requires a coordinated program of 30 credit hours of graduate level coursework.  In coordination with an engineering faculty advisory committee, each student in the program will design a plan of study to meet his or her specific needs and interests.  The plan must identify multiple outcomes, each of which should be supported by multiple courses in the plan of study.  The plan must contain at least 21 hours of 6000‐level and above engineering courses.   Students must also take ENGR 7940/7946: Master of Engineering Program Assessment, in which they provide an evaluation of the extent to which the program helped them to meet their objectives.  There is no thesis requirement, and research and thesis credits cannot be used to meet the requirements of this degree.
