This course covers the definition, benefits, regulations, standards, functionality, and impact of Electronic Health Records (EHR) in the healthcare environment. The course provides the student with a thorough understanding of the terminology of EHR systems as well as practical experience with the clinical and administrative use of EHRs in a medical settings.
